Do I need a consultation first?

For many of our advanced skin treatments, yes — a skin consultation lets Portia assess your skin and tailor the right plan for you. Facials, massage and similar treatments can be booked directly.

Do you offer cosmetic injectable treatments?

Accepted Answer

Cosmetic aesthetic treatments are available by consultation only, following a suitability assessment — so we can make sure any treatment is right and safe for you.

How do you make sure a treatment is right for me?

Before treatment we review your skin concerns, health history and any relevant factors (such as pregnancy, medications or skin conditions). Please share any relevant medical information at your visit — if a treatment isn't suitable, we'll recommend a better-suited alternative.

Is there any downtime after treatments?

It depends on the treatment. Most facials and massages have little to no downtime, while some advanced treatments (such as peels, needling or laser) may involve short-lived redness. We'll always explain what to expect beforehand.

Do I need to follow aftercare instructions?

Yes. Following the aftercare advice we provide helps protect both your results and your skin, and we'll give you clear guidance after each treatment.

How many sessions will I need?

Every skin is different. Some treatments give results in a single session, while others work best as a course. At your consultation we'll recommend a realistic plan based on your skin and goals.

Are your treatments safe?

Absolutely. Portia is an Advanced Skin Therapist with over 20 years' experience, and we use advanced, professional-grade technology alongside strict hygiene and skin-safety protocols. Our TGA-approved devices include Ulthera, Thermage, Sofwave, BTL Exilis, CM Slim and Iris Bluecore Laser.

Where are you located, and is there parking?

We're in the heart of Chatswood, close to public transport with several convenient parking options nearby — Westfield (T2 exit), Mandarin Centre (3-hour parking) and Fitness First.

What is your cancellation policy?

Accepted Answer

We kindly ask for at least 24 hours' notice to reschedule or cancel an appointment. A 10% deposit secures your booking — if you cancel within 24 hours, this deposit is retained as a cancellation fee.

What is your refund policy?

Accepted Answer

As our treatments are personalised services, fees for completed treatments and prepaid packages are generally non-refundable. Change-of-mind returns on retail products are at our discretion. Your rights under the Australian Consumer Law — including for any service or product that is faulty or not as described — are not affected.

Do you offer gift vouchers?

Yes! Gift vouchers are available from $100 — or choose any amount, or a specific treatment. Just ask us in-salon or by email.
