Question 1

How do I book an appointment?

Accepted Answer

You can book directly through our website using the Book Now button, or get in touch and we'll help you find a time. New clients are always welcome.

Question 2

Do I need a consultation first?

Accepted Answer

For many of our advanced skin treatments, yes — a skin consultation lets Portia assess your skin and tailor the right plan for you. Facials, massage and similar treatments can be booked directly.

Question 3

Do you offer cosmetic injectable treatments?

Accepted Answer

Cosmetic aesthetic treatments are available by consultation only, following a suitability assessment — so we can make sure any treatment is right and safe for you.

Question 4

How do you make sure a treatment is right for me?

Accepted Answer

Before treatment we review your skin concerns, health history and any relevant factors (such as pregnancy, medications or skin conditions).

Question 5

Is there any downtime after treatments?

Accepted Answer

It depends on the treatment. Most facials and massages have little to no downtime, while some advanced treatments may involve short-lived redness.

Question 6

Do I need to follow aftercare instructions?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Following the aftercare advice we provide helps protect both your results and your skin, and we'll give you clear guidance after each treatment.

Question 7

How many sessions will I need?

Accepted Answer

Every skin is different. Some treatments give results in a single session, while others work best as a course.

Question 8

Are your treatments safe?

Accepted Answer

Absolutely. Portia is an Advanced Skin Therapist with over 20 years' experience, and we use advanced, professional-grade technology alongside strict hygiene and skin-safety protocols.

Question 9

Where are you located, and is there parking?

Accepted Answer

We're in the heart of Chatswood, close to public transport with several convenient parking options nearby — Westfield, Mandarin Centre and Fitness First.

Question 10

What is your cancellation policy?

Accepted Answer

We kindly ask for at least 24 hours' notice to reschedule or cancel an appointment. A 10% deposit secures your booking — if you cancel within 24 hours, this deposit is retained as a cancellation fee.

Question 11

What is your refund policy?

Accepted Answer

As our treatments are personalised services, fees for completed treatments and prepaid packages are generally non-refundable.

Question 12

Do you offer gift vouchers?

Accepted Answer

Yes! Gift vouchers are available from $100 — or choose any amount, or a specific treatment.
